EVENTS AND PRODUCTIONS Tickets for all Productions are reasonably priced at £4.00 per ticket. Tickets can be obtained from members, from McDermids Newsagents (Keystore), or at the Box Office on performance nights. Ordinary Membership Dumbarton People's Theatre is always keen to welcome new members and not just those wishing to act on stage. We are on the lookout for new members of any age who would like to learn the arts of Stage Management, Stage Lighting, Sound, Set Design & Construction, Costume, Props or would like to help backstage as a Prompt or a Scene Shifter. If you see yourself treading the boards or would like to try out any of the above areas we would love to hear from you. No experience is necessary, just an interest in the theatre. We are a friendly club so why not come and join us. We stage four productions a year each with around six weeks rehearsal. When a play is in production we rehearse at least three times a week - on a Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Nearer the performance dates more rehearsals take place building up to every night of the week so it is a big commitment but a truly rewarding one. Nothing can beat the excitement of a "first night." Ordinary membership costs £5.00 for a whole year. This also brings the benefit of being able to purchase tickets before they go on general release.
